Dr. Ashishkumar V. Gohil is a distinguished academic and engineering educator with over 34 years of experience in engineering education, research, and institutional leadership. Currently serving as Professor and Head of the Production Engineering Department at L.E. College, Morbi, Gujarat, he has dedicated his career to advancing manufacturing engineering education and research in India.
With a Ph.D. in Engineering from Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (specializing in Manufacturing Engineering & Welding Technology) and an M.Tech. from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Dr. Gohil brings both academic rigor and practical expertise to his role.
His research interests span resistance spot welding, electrical discharge machining (EDM), finite element analysis, surface modification techniques, and alternative fuels—areas in which he has published extensively in Scopus-indexed journals and presented at international conferences across the globe.
